Gray & Davis - Model 103 Brass Oil Lamp for Antique AutomobileFor Parts or Restoration
Up for bid is a brass oil lamp for an antique automobile that was made by Gray & Davis, Amesbury, Massachusetts.
It is their Model 103 lamp. This lamp is being sold as is for parts or restoration with the proper front and burner assembly.
This lamp lacks the front and burner, and one of the clear lens.
The red jewel lens is chipped, and that side is slightly bent in.
The whole reflector area is blackened, probably from soot.
The very top has a few tiny dents (see photos).
Otherwise, this section of the lamp is solid and should polish up great.
There are no age cracks that I can find.
The door opens fine.
I notice that inside the door the blacked reflector area is slightly pushed in around the red jewel lens.
See the photos, as they are part of the description.
